Join Honorary Reporters 2023

The Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is recruiting Honorary Reporters for Korea.net to promote Korea to the world.
Join this year's class of Honorary Reporters for the chance to experience and share Korean culture with the world.

1. Qualifications

• ㅇ Non-Korean national who is highly interested in and passionate about Korea
• ㅇ Active user of social media (e.g., Instagram, Facebook and YouTube)
• ㅇ Ability to produce quality content
  * in one of 10 languages : English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, French, German, Russian and Indonesian
  * Content can be in any format including written article, photo, video or illustration

2. Activities

• ㅇ Period : May 2023-April 2024 (extension for previous HRs possible)
• ㅇ Content creation : Honorary Reporters create articles or other content covering any topic related to Korea.
• ㅇ Events : Honorary Reporters can take part in online and offline events hosted by KOCIS and related organizations.
• ㅇ Workshops and education : Korea.net provides development programs based on the activities and capabilities of each individual to boost the content development skills of Honorary Reporters.

• ㅇ Small honorarium or gifts for those who produce superior work
• ㅇ Eligibility for programs related to Korean culture
• ㅇ Participation in production of Korea.net content

코리아넷 명예기자단이 되어 한국 문화를 체험하고 그 경험을 전 세계에 공유할 수 있는 기회를 가져보세요!

1. 지원자격

• ㅇ 한국을 사랑하는 외국인 (한국 거주 여부 관계 없음)
• ㅇ 유튜브 등 SNS(페이스북, 인스타그램 등) 활동이 활발한 분
• ㅇ 10개 언어* 중 하나의 언어로 콘텐츠** 제작이 가능한 분
  *영어, 중국어, 스페인어, 아랍어, 프랑스어, 러시아어, 독일어, 인도네시아어, 일본어, 베트남어
  **기사, 사진, 유튜브, 일러스트 등

2. 활동 기간 및 내용

• ㅇ 2023년 5월~2024년 4월 (기존 활동자 연장 가능)
• ㅇ 한국 문화나 한국 관련 소식을 기사로 작성
• ㅇ 해외문화홍보원 및 유관 기관의 온오프라인 행사 참여, 취재
• ㅇ 콘텐츠 제작 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 워크숍 참여

3. 활동 혜택

• ㅇ 우수활동자 대상 원고료 또는 기념품 지급
• ㅇ 한국 문화 관련 프로그램 참여
